Ingredients
4
water1000 ml
carrot2 pcs
celery1 pcs
onion1 pcs
potato200 g
salt5 g
black pepper2 g
vegetable bouillon cube1 pcs
Steps
1
Prepare vegetables: chop carrot, celery, onion, and potato into uniform 2 cm pieces. Place all chopped vegetables and water into the GastroLab bowl.
⏱ 10 min💡 Uniform piece size ensures even cooking.
2
Install the stirring attachment into the bowl. Close the lid securely.
GastroLab:
Install stirring attachment. Place bowl in device and lock lid.⏱ 2 min💡 Always use the stirring attachment when heating liquids to prevent sticking.
3
Set the GastroLab to Manual mode. Set temperature to 95°C, Speed 1, and Time 25 minutes. Add the bouillon cube. Press the knob to start cooking.
GastroLab:
On touchscreen: tap 'Manual' → set Temperature to 95°C → set Speed to 1 → set Time to 25 min → press knob once to start.⏱ 25 min💡 The gentle stirring at Speed 1 prevents vegetables from breaking apart while cooking evenly.
4
When the timer finishes, the soup will beep. Remove the lid carefully (steam is hot). Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
GastroLab:
Hold knob for 3 seconds to stop if needed. Remove lid when cooled slightly.⏱ 3 min💡 Taste before adding salt—the bouillon cube already contributes saltiness.
5
Ladle the hot soup into bowls and serve immediately.
⏱ 5 min💡 Soup tastes best served hot. Add fresh herbs like parsley if desired.
Chef's note: For a creamier soup, blend half the cooked vegetables using the knife on Speed 8 for 20 seconds, then stir back in. Serve with crusty bread or croutons.
